TOPEKS CAMPING CLUB MINUTES
Saturday, August 24^th, 2024
 Pomona Lake – Michigan Valley

Opening: President Russ Thomann called the meeting to order at 5:27 p.m.

Roll Call:    Roll Call was completed by Secretary Nicole Thompson.

A total of 12 families were present for the meeting.

 

Guests: Chip and Misty Smith, Bennett and Shannon Erickson.

 

Treasurer Report:

As reported by Treasurer Russ Thomann:

Beginning Balance    $ 572.55

Old Business: None

 

New Business:

We need to get photos of new members for the photo directory. We will try to get those at future campouts.

 

There will be a Chili Cookoff for the October Campout at Melvern.

 

Russ asked if there was any interest in doing a February Snow Bunny Campout for old times sake, but surprisingly, there was no interest. J

 

Announcements: Sara Harrop, daughter of the Tozier’s, had surgery for Melanoma on her thigh. They were able to get all of the cancer and it did not spread. Keep her in your prayers.

 

 

The August Birthdays and Anniversaries were celebrated.

 

We had Kansas Trivia after the August Meeting.

 

 

NEXT CAMPOUT:

Pomona Lake – Outlet Park, September 27 - 29, 2024

Dinner will be Ham and Beans by the Christensen’s. Last names A – L should bring a Side Dish and M – Z should bring a Desert.
