TOPEKS CAMPING CLUB MINUTES
April 27, 2024
Melvern Lake – Outlet Park

Opening: President Dean Porter called the meeting to Order at 5:47 pm.

 

Roll Call was completed by Secretary Nicole Thompson. A total of 11 families were present for the meeting.

 

Treasurer Report: Treasurer Russ Thomann gave the Treasurer’s Report.

 

Beginning Balance         $ 372.55

Deposits               $ 125.00

Expenditures              -$ 0.00

Ending Balance            $ 497.55

 

Guests: None.

 

Old Business:

Minutes of the previous meeting was approved as sent out by Terry Christensen.

 

Announcements:

Betty Milburn is in the hospital.

 

New Business:

Taco Salad / Taco Bar Signup for the May campout – See Donna Burnett. If you signed up to bring items on the list, don’t forget to bring them.

Bring desert if not bringing taco fixings.

 

Friday , May 17^th at 7:00 pm – Kansas Trivia

Saturday, May 18^th at 12:00 pm – Corn Hole Tournament

 

It was discussed about who could make new member Topeks signs.

We will have another order of Topeks Tees and Hoodies printed after we take orders.

The tee will be left chest front with Black, Brown and Red ink and the back will be Black ink.

 

Nicole would like to do a white Topeks tee that each individual can tie-dye for a future activity.

Meeting was adjourned at 5:55 p.m.

If not bringing items for the Taco Salad, bring a Desert.
