April 25 - 27, 2025 – Campout at Melvern Outlet – Loop B - Crockpot Meals

May 16 - 18, 2025 - Pomona Outlet - Ham & Beans (Christensen’s)

Last names A – L should bring a Side Dish and M – Z should bring a Desert.

June 27 - 29, 2025 - Pomona Carbolyn - BYO Sandwiches

Last names A – L should bring a Desert and M – Z should bring a Side Dish.

July 25 - 27, 2025 - Perry - Rock Creek - Pulled Pork (Thompson’s)

Last names A – L should bring a Side Dish and M – Z should bring a Desert.

August 22 - 24, 2025 - Clinton - Cedar Ridge - BYO Hot Dogs/ Brats

Last names A – L should bring a Desert and M – Z should bring a Side Dish.

Ice Cream for those that want to make it / bring it.

September 26 - 28, 2025 - Pomona - Michigan Valley – Tacos (Burnett’s)

For those not helping with the Taco ingredients, Last names A – L should bring a Side Dish and

M – Z should bring a Desert. JoseA and JoseB will be making margaritas.

October 24 - 26, 2025 - Melvern Outlet – Loop B - Chili Cookoff

Those not making Chili, Last names A – L should bring a Desert and M – Z should bring a Side Dish.

December 7, 2025 – Christmas Party – Calvary Lutheran Church, 4211 NW Topeka Blvd, Topeka KS.

Bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots – For $5 gift exchange, gift beginning with the letter ‘T’, Bring Finger Foods to share.

Opening: President Dean Porter called the meeting to order at 2:05 pm.

Roll Call: Roll Call was taken by Nicole Thompson with 16 families present.

Guests: None

Treasurer Report: Russ Thomann gave the Treasurer’s Report:

Checking $ 470.20

Expenses - $ 50.00 (Church Rental donation)

Deposit + $ 000

Balance $ 420.20

Old Business: Finalized the 2025 campout schedule and officers.

New Business:

Thanks to all the previous officers serving the camping club.

It was discussed to have Ice Cream at the August campout.

At the September campout, JoseA and JoseB will be serving margaritas.

It was confirmed that the 2025 Christmas party will be on Sunday, December 7^th.

The website, www.topeks.org, has been updated for 2025.

Announcements:

We celebrated 100^th birthdays for Betty Siple (11/20/2024) and Genevieve Collins (06/23/2025).

What a milestone birthday!!!! J
