Opening:Meeting called to order by acting President Russ Thomann ~6:00 p.m.
Roll Call: Roll Call was completed by acting Secretary Brenda Perry.
A total of 16 families were present for the meeting.
Treasurer Report: Treasurer Russ Thomann gave the TreasurerÕs Report.
Beginning Balance $ 497.55
Deposits (Dues) $ 50.00
Petty Cash $ 25.00
Expenditures(FOOD) -$ 0.00
Ending Balance $ 572.55
Guests: Judie Fritz, Zach Williams, Ruthie (DarleenÕs Aunt), and Kerry and Kim Hauser, friends of the ChristensenÕs.
Old Business: Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as sent out by Terry Christensen.
Announcements:
DeanÕs mother is in the hospital. Dean was not feeling well either, so he was unable to attend.
Adalee Miller, former member of the Topeks, passed away May 7th and the Funeral was on May 11th.
The Goof Award has a new owner. While Andrew Christensen was in his camper, the panic button on his key fob accidentally got pushed, setting off the horn honking on his Jeep around 8:30 am Saturday morning. Andrew just paid his dues as a new member and was happily handed the Goof Award at dinner by Russ Thomann. Welcome to the Club. J
Ronda TheroffÕs mother has been recovering from Covid-19 and is doing better and is back at home. She misses the campouts and hopes no one forgets her.
THANK YOU to Donna and Elmer Burnett for providing the taco meat and coordinating the Taco meal this month.
THANK YOU to HoseÕA and HoseÕB for making the margaritas. J
Cleve introduced the Club to a new variation of Corn Hole, only his version uses toilet plungers and 5 gallon buckets.
New Business:
The Fun Committee would like to plan a tye dye event for later this summer. If you want to get a white Topeks tee for tye dying for the July campout at Clinton Lake, please get orders to Shannon & Nicole or the ChristensenÕs by July 10th. These white tees will have the Topeks logo on the front chest and will be tie dyed by YOU. Cost will be $5.00 each for SM – XL and $6.00 each for
2XL – 3XL.
The ChristensenÕs will also be doing a reprint of the Topeks Sport Grey tees with the Topeks logo on the left chest and the various campers on the back.
The cost for them will be $7.00 each for SM – XL, $8.00 for 2XL, $9.00 for 3XL.
Please see the ThompsonÕs or ChristensenÕs to get on the signup sheet if you have not already done so. No money is due until the tees are delivered.
