TOPEKS CAMPING CLUB MINUTES

Opening: President Teresa Diaz called the meeting to order at 1:48 pm.

 

Roll Call:    Roll Call was completed by Secretary Kristen Christensen.

A total of 13 families were present for the meeting.

 

Treasurer Report: Treasurer Kim Hauser gave the Treasurer’s Report.

 

Checking $ 763.21

Deposit $ 20.00

Expenses $ 0.00

Balance $ 783.21

Guests: None.

 

Old Business: Handed out copies of finalized 2026 Camping Schedule.

 

New Business:

My Aunt Joyce Neiswender fell and cracked her hip. She is in rehab at Brewster Place in Topeka. Joyce and Eldon (and later Duane) were long time members of the Topeks Camping Club. Several folks reminisced about the homemade wine that Eldon would make and bring to campouts. J

 

January, February and March Birthdays were recognized.

 

It was discussed to look at camping at Pomona – Wolf Creek for 2027.

 

Meeting was adjourned at 1:57 p.m.
