TOPEKS CAMPING CLUB MINUTES

Opening: The meeting was called to order by President Dean Porter at 1:17 p.m.

 

Roll Call:    Roll Call was completed by Secretary Nicole Thompson.

A total of 12 families were present for the meeting.

 

Treasurer Report: Treasurer Russ Thomann gave the Treasurer’s Report.

 

Beginning Balance         $ 202.55

Deposits               +$ 220.00

Expenditures              -$ 50.00

Ending Balance                $ 372.55

Guests: William and Linda Liggett, David and Danette Robinson and Jason and Lesley Revils were guests and are joining the Camping Club.

 

Old Business: None.

 

Announcements:

Several people are having health issues. Carole is having shoulder issues, Cleve is having back issues, Ben’s mother’s health is a concern and Darlene is getting a knee replacement.

 

New Business:

We will finalize what the activities will be at the campouts. Some of the upcoming activities will be a movie and games of cornhole.

Everyone with a 10x10 and a folding table, please bring them for the April campout at Melvern Outlet A Loop. We do not have the shelter, so we are preparing for if there is rain.

Russ and Mila will be hosting a Happy Hour at site A45 at 7:00 pm on Friday night. Bring a beverage and a snack. There will also be sampling of moonshine available.

Meeting was adjourned at 1:37 p.m.
